Artist's Comments

Looky what I drew in Yellowstone! Well, here's the thing. I don't really 'do' nature art. In fact, living in the Northwest U.S., I have grown to become quite oversaturated by the whole wilderness and wildlife subject matter. You just can't get away from that shit around here. So, I sit in beautiful places and draw beautiful women. That's my thing.

Anyway, I brought two sets of photographic reference with me in case I was struck by the urge to draw. One set was two profile shots of the beauty behind =asvison-stock, which can be found at this [link] . Specifically, one of the two profiles can be found at this [link] and this [link] . To be honest, I drew her because of that hair. That is an awesome mess of hair, and fun as hell to draw! I really like the series that these references came frome, though, and I'll probably work on a few more pieces using other bits soon enough.

At any rate, go visit the very generous and exceptionally beautiful =asvison-stock.

Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things.

A quick note about my "wildlife", I'm in the brandywine valley about 6 miles from the Wyeth's house ... Trade you a cougar for 6000 pictures of a freakin washed out barn ( no offense to the family, they are amazing - but I'm over dosed).
More importantly, speaking of AMAZING, Lovely work, great blend of textures and line work. I applaud the hair, and the jewelry ... and heck you even use your whites extremely well.
